Learning Scenario: Every year millions of Monarch butterflies travel long distances from Mexico to Canada and back. Why? How do such tiny animals survive? To what extent do we share responsibility with others for their survival?

Journey North is a project that has been tracking this migration with the on-line help of students around the world. This unit prepares students to participate in this global project.
